Believing in Faith (Forever Strong)

Great pain is easy to acquire but hard to get rid of. We’ve all gone through things in our lives that have caused us to sit there and cry through the night wishing we’d die. Had experiences that cause us to throw our fists up at the sky in anger questioning God. Our minds not able to comprehend why it was us that had to suffer the way we did. During these hardships, believing there is no divine plan for us came easy and thinking of God as an absentee landlord came easier.
Why them? We ask at times. Why us? We ask frequently. Why me? We ask the most. These questions won’t be answered, but we constantly ask as if they will. Begging and pleading because knowing the answer will make us feel better, or at least we think it will. Instead of praying, the pain causes us to question. Instead of faith, the turmoil wrecks our beliefs. Everything becomes harder; eating, sleeping, talking and believing. Hanging in there just doesn’t cut it; the pain is just too great.
So what is the solution that’ll allow us to heal? How do we get passed the pain and reconcile our strength for our remaining loved ones?
GOD
Don’t just hang in there; grasp “the word” by its mouth. Leech on to its every last verse for support. Say every prayer as if it was your last. Cry out all you want to God (crying is never a bad thing). Tell God how you feel and at the end ask him to give you the strength not just to get by, but to grow. Believe in the bottom of your heart that you’re not alone. Know that you have friends and family out there willing and able to support you.
Misery is like a stage five clinger; it hangs on for dear life. Wisdom is nothing more than healed pain. And life is like a box of… Oh never mind, you get the point. I encourage everyone reading this to examine their lives and be grateful for the people you are surrounded by. Hang on to those people as they are your backbone; which allows you to continue walking in faith and fighting the good fight.
